PROCEEDINGS:-

          In the Board’s Proceedings first cited, orders were issued revising the pay of the Workmen covered under Wage Settlement with effect from 1-12-2011.  Among other things, the existing Pay band and Grade Pay of the Workmen were not modified.

          2)  In the Board’s Proceedings second cited, orders were issued revising the pay of the Officers category with effect from 1-12-2011.   In the said order, the Grade pay of the Officers covered in PB-2 in the Pay band of Rs.10100-34800 + Rs.4,600/- alone was modified as Rs.10100-34800 + Rs.5,100/- notionally with effect from 1-12-2011 and monetary benefit from 9-1-2014.

          3)   The Unions have demanded to modify the Grade Pay of the last Pay band of the Workmen on par with the Officers category covered in PB-2 as hitherto adopted.

          4)   The demand has been examined in detail and accepted.  The Pay band and Grade Pay of the last category in Workmen                       and  first  category  of  Officer are  identical  in  every Wage Revision. 

Accordingly,  the Grade pay of the Workmen covered in PB-2 in the Pay band of Rs.10100-34800 + Rs.4,600/- be modified as              Rs.10100-34800 + Rs.5,100/- notionally with effect from 1-12-2011 and monetary benefit from 9-1-2014.

          5)  The following amendment is issued to the TANGEDCO  Revised pay (Workmen) Regulations, 2011:-

AMENDMENT

             In Annexure – I pay band and Grade pay for workmen with effect from 01.12.2011, to the (Per) FB TANGEDCO Proceedings No.3 (SB), Dated : 11-1-2014,  the pay band + Grade pay in column – 4 of  PB.2 shall be read as “Rs.10100-34800 + Rs.5,100/- (Modified notionally with effect from 01.12.2011 and monetary effect from 09.01.2014)
