PROCEEDINGS;

The Government of Tamil Nadu in the above Government Order have issued orders for enhancing the minimum rate of subscription towards GPF @ 12% on the total amount of Basic Pay + Grade Pay + Special Pay + Personal Pay + Dearness Allowance. The Government has further ordered to make recovery at the same rate from the employee’s salary in the events of sanction of periodical increment/increase in DA from the date of effect, etc. Voluntary option to enhance the rate of subscription is also allowed in relaxation of the orders issued by the Government even if such an option had been given earlier in March/April.

2. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 131 and 133 of the Elecy. Act, 2003 (Central Act 36 of 2003) read with Regulation 3 (a) of the TNEB GPF Regulations the TNEB hereby makes the following orders for implementation in TANGEDCO, TANTRANSCO and TNEB Limited.

3.After careful consideration, the TNEB Limited has decided to adopt in accordance with the Government Order for enhancing the present rate of subscription @ 12% on the total amount of Basic Pay + Grade Pay + Special Pay   +   Personal Pay   +   Dearness Allowance.

4. Voluntary options to subscribe to GPF over and above the minimum subscription will also be allowed in relaxation of Regulation 12 of TNEB GPF Regulations even if such an option had been given earlier in March/April.

5. Further the recovery percentage of 12% will also be applicable to the annual increment and Revision of DA whenever occurs.

6. These orders `take effect from 1.1.2012.
