                             In the reference cited, various Superintending Engineers of  EDC have sought for clarification whether the service rendered as Mazdoor may be taken into account as experience for considering promotion of Line Inspector.

                             2) After careful consideration, all the Superintending Engineers of Electricity Distribution Circle are  informed that for considering promotion as Line Inspector, the service regulation may be followed without any deviation in the seniority. Since in the Service Regulation specific post of Mazdoor for considering experience has not been mentioned.
