PROCEEDINGS:

Under the circumstances
explained by the Chief Engineer (Distribution)/ Erode Region, sanction is
hereby accorded for formation of new Division at Edappady by bifurcating the
Mettur Division in Mettur Electricity
Distribution Circle. Also,
the existing AEE/ Sankari/ C&I be redeployed from Sankari Division to
Omalur Division as Kadayampatty C&I
Sub-Division. The existing Revenue Branch and Sub-Stores at Mettur Division
be utilised in both Mettur and Edappady Division.

Further, it is ordered that the Division Office/ Edappady and C&I/
Kadayampatty Sub-Division formed at the premises of 110/22 KV Sub-Station at
Edappady and 110/22 KV Sub-Station at Thumbipady respectively. The tools and
plants already available in Mettur EDC shall be utilised for the new Edappady
Division and one No. vehicle and telephones to be provided as per eligibility.
6) The sanctioned/ redeployed posts as ordered in paras
(3&4) shall be eligible to draw the Usual Pay, Dearness Allowance, House
Rent Allowance and other allowances as the case may be at the rates as
admissible under the orders in force wherever applicable.
7) The Superintending
Engineer/ Mettur Electricity Distribution Circle shall promptly report the date
of utilisation of the post.
8) The expenditure is
debitable to “TANGEDCO Funds- Revenue Expenses – Mettur EDC - 75 - Employees
Cost".
