Consequent
on the issue of orders under references first and second cited, the Chief
Engineer/Tuticorin Thermal Power Station has sought for clarification whether
the Lineman equivalent categories merged with Line Inspector equivalent
categories in the Thermal Stations are eligible for promotional fixation.
It is
hereby clarified that the Lineman equivalent posts merged with the Line
Inspector equivalent posts in the four Thermal Power Stations, consequent on
issue of orders under reference first cited, are entitled for promotion
fixation in the Line Inspector equivalent posts.
