            Under Regulation 106 of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulation, the list of 94 Accounts Supervisors mentioned in the Annexure-I are provisionally selected for inclusion in the panel for promotion to the post of Assistant Accounts Officer in   Class II Service, in the order of their rank indicated against their names, based on the Accounts Supervisors inter-se-seniority.

          2)  Thiru. S.Kadar Mozhideen, (D.O.B.:15.03.1958) (Serial No.1) in this list will take rank below Thiru. A.Nanda Kumar, (D.O.B.:11.11.1964) who is the last person  promoted as Assistant Accounts Officer in the previous panel communicated in       (Per)  CMD TANGEDCO PROCEEDINGS No.7 (Adm. Br.) dated 8.02.2011 as per seniority of Accounts Supervisor cadre.

          3)  Thirty Six (36) Nos. of Accounts Supervisors  have not been selected in this panel for the reason mentioned in the Annexure-II.

          4)  Three (3) Nos of Accounts Supervisors have not been  selected in this panel for the reason mentioned in the Annexure III



          5)  Promotion as Assistant Accounts Officer based on the rank will be made purely on temporary basis without any rights including seniority in the category of Assistant Accounts Officer.  Orders approving the regular panel indicating the inter-se-seniority of Assistant Accounts Officer will be issued after the disposal of the various Writ Petitions filed by the Accounts Supervisors and also subject to the out-come of W.P.Nos. 35486 of 2002, and 17936 of 2003 pending before the High Court/Madras.
         


         6)  The receipt of this TANGEDCO Proceedings shall be acknowledged.

                   I am to state that the Accounts Supervisors (94 Nos.) as shown in the annexure are selected for appointment to the post of Assistant Accounts Officer in the TANGEDCO Proceedings cited are allotted to your region against the existing vacancies.

          2)       I am to inform that with reference to Note (1) in Annexure-II referred to in Regulation 93 of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations, orders of appointment and posting as Assistant Accounts Officer may be issued by you to the promotees under intimation to this Office.

          3)       It is certified that the above Accounts Supervisor possesses the requisite qualification to hold the post of Assistant Accounts Officer and hence their pay shall be fixed under Regulation 33(b) of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations.

          4)       I am also to request you to issue appointment and posting orders individually and to incorporate the following clause in the appointment and posting orders of the above promotees.

(i)
"If they do not join duty within the time indicated, their promotion orders will be cancelled and the next junior will be promoted".


(ii)
The above orders of appointment are issued without prejudice to the outcome of W.P.Nos.35486/2002,  and 17936/2003 pending before the High Court Madras.
