Sub	:-	Estt. - Class III - RWE Employees (LI,CI & F.M. I Grade etc.,) - promotion as J.E./Electrical II Grade - Based on the Order of the Hon'ble High Court - Suitability Report call for as on 22.06.2015 - Regarding.
Ref	:-	Hon’ble High Court Order dated 22.06.2015  in  W.A. No. 1571 to 1575/2012.

                   A Panel for promotion to the post of Junior Engineer/Electrical II Grade intended to Petitioners of Diploma Holders of RWE employees of                L.I., C.I., etc. equivalent and higher categories has to be prepared for filling up of the existing vacancies based on the orders of High Court of Madras dated 22.06.2015.

                              

                   2) I request you to furnish the particulars as required in the Format enclosed ( 5 copies to be furnished) in respect of the petitioners of Diploma Holders of RWE Employees working in your circle.  The particulars called for in the Format should invariably be furnished without using dash               (i.e. any item of the format having no remarks, it should be indicated as "NIL").             The Letter and Format shall be signed by the SEs himself and not any other Officers.

                   3) If any RWE Employees of L.I., C.I., equivalent and higher categories working in your circle possesses Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification as on 22.06.2015 (i.e. date of Hon'ble High Court Order date) if they opt for considering for selection as Junior Engineering (copy of certificate to be furnished 5 copies) as required in the Format and submit their Undertaking 5 copies as detailed below:-

                   "I opt for appointment as Junior Engineer/Electrical II Grade by Relinquishing my rights for promotion in RWE cadre.  By giving my option for such appointment, I realize that I shall not be entitled for further promotion in my former cadre of RWE Cadre.  "

                   4) The employees who have passed Diploma in Electrical Engineering (only part time or Regular) are eligible for promotion.

                   5) The employees who have passed Diploma in Electrical Engineering through Distance Education from any Universities are not eligible for promotion.

                   6)   As the preparation of panel of Junior Engineer/ Electrical       II Grade to fill up the existing vacancies depend on the receipt of the above reports from your end in time.

         7) I request you to bestow your personnel attention in the matter and furnish all the required details in complete shape on or before 25.08.2015 without fail.  In this connection, I invite attention to this Office Circular Memo No. 068288/Adm.II/A2/97-1, Dated 12.06.1997 and request you to keep-up the TARGET DATE indicated above.
