PROCEEDINGS:
In
the Board’s Proceedings first cited, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has
ordered for enhancement of festival advance from Rs.1000/- to Rs.2000/- to the
employees of the Board payable on the occasion of festival once in a calendar
year. The Government of Tamil Nadu, in
their Government order second cited, have now enhanced the Festival Advance
from Rs.2000/- to Rs.5000/-.
2. Following the orders of the Government, the
TANGEDCO directs that the quantum of Festival Advance be enhanced from
Rs.2000/- to Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five thousand only). There shall be no change in the existing
procedure for sanction and recovery of advance.
3. These orders shall take effect from the date
of issue of the orders and apply to the festivals to be celebrated after the
date of issue of this order.
