                   The Clause 92(a) in Annexure-I, under Division VIII, category I providing for the minimum period of service for promotion of Inspector of Assessment as Revenue Supervisor, has been amended as three years vide (Per) B.P.(FB) No.24,(Sectt.Branch), dated 26.06.2007.

                                2) The post of Revenue Supervisor is mandatory Cadre to supervise the day to day collection and assessment work.  It has been proposed to fill up the existing vacant posts by relaxing the requirement of minimum experience of 3 years in the post of Inspector of Assessment for promotion as Revenue Supervisor as One year as a one time measure.

                   3) After careful examination, the Board hereby orders that the existing minimum service experience of three years in the post of Inspector of Assessment prescribed for promotion to the post of Revenue Supervisor be relaxed from three years to one year in the post of Inspector of Assessment as a special case as one time measure.
