Sub:	Recruitment – Class III Service – Filling up of vacancies of Assistant Draughtsman by Internal Selection – Proposals of qualified employees – Called for.

                   I am to inform that, it is proposed to call for application from the qualified employees of TANGEDCO/TANTRANSCO to fill up vacant post of Assistant Draughtsman by Internal Selection in the Pay Band of Rs.5400-20200+2200.

                   2)  The eligibility conditions are as follows:-

(i)	The employees who are working in Regular Work Establishment who are drawing the regular time scale of pay.
(ii)	The employees who have obtained Craftsmanship Certificate in the trade of Draughtsman (Civil) and Draughtsman (Mechanical) as per Annexure – I, referred the Regulation 92 of TNEB Service Regulations.
(iii)	As per Regulation 95(b) of TNEB Service Regulations the employees who are approved probationer or probationer are eligible to apply.
(iv)	The employees who are involved D.P./Undergoing punishment on the date of notification are not eligible.

                   3)  I am to request you to communicate this reference to the sub-ordinate officers with suitable instructions to give wide publicity by displaying this communication on the Notice Board of their respective offices.

                   4)   Those willing employees who have possessed the above said qualification, should submit their application in the prescribed format with attested copies of Certificate (Copy enclosed) to their Head Office on or before20.02.2017 and those who do not apply, will not be considered for selection. 

                   5)  The appointment order shall be issued to the selected employees only after receipt of the genuineness certificate.  The BIO-DATA of the employees furnished in their applications and original certificates may be thoroughly verified and a consolidated proposal in Annexure-I may be sent along with their applications and necessary genuineness certificate has to be obtained from the concerned University or Institution for the qualification.  

                   6)  I am also to request you to forward the consolidated proposal furnishing all the required details in complete shape, in Annexure-I so as to reach this office positively before 09.03.2017 without fail.

                   7)   If no qualified person is available, a ‘NIL’ report may be sent promptly.

                   8)  This may be treated as specially urgent and the report may be sent within the due date.

                   9)  If no proposal is received within the stipulated time, the report in respect of your circle will be taken as NILand for omission if any found at a later date, the Officer/Staff concerned will be held personally responsible for the lapses.

                   10)    The selection will be processed as per rules and regulations in force.

                   If, selected and given, appointment as Assistant Draughtsman, I agree for protection in pay by grant of Personal Pay to the extent of the difference in the basic pay admissible to me from time to time in the post of Assistant Draughtsman and the basic pay that would have been drawn by me in the previous postif I continued in the previous post till the basic pay in the post of Assistant Draughtsman becomes equal to or more than basic pay in the previous post or my promotion to higher post whichever is earlier as per order in BOSB/Memo (Per.) No.11297/A3/A31/2014-1, dated 19.11.2014.
