PROCEEDINGS:-
The TANGEDCO hereby directs that Monday
16th May 2016, the date on which the poll for the General Elections
to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, 2016 will take place, shall be a public
holiday to all the employees of TANGEDCO, TANTRANSCO and TNEB Ltd under the
Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
2.
However, the employees who are attending shift duty at all O&M
Circles/Thermal Stations/Hydro Generation Stations/Gas Turbine Power Stations,
are permitted to cast their votes by availing General Permission either in the
Forenoon or Afternoon on 16th
May 2016 .
