Sub :	TANGEDCO - Adm. Branch - Cost  cutting measures approved by the CMD/Tangedco - Telephones - saving telephone charges by availing group billing - Regarding.

                     2) The Chairman Cum Managing Director has approved in the Circular under reference 2nd cited,  approving the recommendations for cost cutting  measures with a view to optimize the cost of supply considering the increasing trend in the Revenue Expenditure as well as Capital Expenditure.

                     3) On reviewing the suggestions of the cost cutting Committee, regarding reduction of Telephone charges by availing group billing Method, so as to avail discounts from BSNL to reduce the telephone charges and also these measures for immediate implementation.

                    4)  Therefore all the Chief Engineers and all the Superintending Engineers are requested to take necessary action for awailing group Billing method from BSNL at their own arrangements for the officers who have been provided landline telephones and cell phones since, saving from telephone charges will be gained.

                             5)  The officers are requested to inform the action taken for group billing report to to this office early, so as to submit the appraisal note to the Chairman-Cum-Managing Director/TANGEDCO.
